Heating homes adequately without wasted energy is vital if we are to achieve our carbon targets while addressing fuel-poverty. A huge expansion in the retro-fitting industry is needed, there are many draughty, expensive-to-heat homes across our area. Many jobs and prosperous businesses will result, addressing both the climate emergency and the economic recession. Government's green homes grants have been poorly administered.
